You also have your choice of types of ranges: Gas RangeMany people feel that you get the best result using a gas cooktop. We have a wide selection of gas ranges for you to choose from.
Electric Coil RangeThese tend to be the least expensive. The electric coil type cooktop has a slower heat response than gas but faster than glass-ceramic. The heat is less concentrated than with glass-ceramic The coil range is easy to maintain. Also, you don't have to be careful with the cooking containers the way you do with the glass-ceramic top.
Glass-Ceramic Cooktop RangeThese are very easy to clean but you have to be careful to not scratch the surface. They tend to be the most expensive. The glass-ceramic cooktop works best with flat bottomed pans and pots. But, you need to be careful with things like cast iron to not scratch the surface.
